What makes this website outstanding?
The variety of its content is its main outstanding point. The website features a wide variety of topics mostly from pop-culture genre but can also cover events, news, food related features, and even toys. And for the same reason I believe it is best represented in this Magazine category.

A truly good representation of what future independent online magazines can accomplish. Be merry in Azrael's land. =)

The SIM Blog, in a manner of speaking, is a Trojan Horse--a means of reaching out to young readers (and non-readers who are instead regular users of computers), by insinuating itself in the medium that the youth is most comfortable with.

Recent studies have indicated a declining readership of the print media, especially among the youth who have found the Net to be more responsive to their needs and predilections.

By using the Net, specifically blogging-- a platform that young people are most familiar with-- SIM hopes to direct a more youthful traffic to the Magazine. Readership surveys have indicated that although SIM is the leading Sunday magazine, its youth market has yet to be saturated. SIM's blogs on themes and topics in the upcoming Sunday issue provide a sneak preview that should pique the interest of the young and convert that interest into regular readership.
