JOB TITLE: E-Commerce Manager
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
JOB SUMMARY
The E-Commerce Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and assist him/her to manage all website ontents, drive and orchestrate all online marketing related activities. The role will include hands-on management of website contents and more importantly create greater value for the hotel’s website and build more meaningful connections with guest through creative and innovative online strategies.

KEY JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Website
- perform and manage website updates through Sitecore
- ensure all website contents are in line with brand guidelines & adapted for online use
- work with hotel operations to drive contents update to the website in a timely manner
- source for valuable lifestyle content and develop tailored copy for use on website
- utilize Google Analytics to monitor and analyze website traffic and trends
2. Driving Revenue
- produce monthly report to monitor web booking production, online Gift Certificates, Amenities / Gifts sales
- Develop overall strategies and seasonal campaigns to increase business in each of the revenue streams
- Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure rate/packages are available and displayed in the optimal manner to increase sales
2. SEO / SEM and Search Campaigns
- manage online media calendar to drive and orchestrate all online media campaign
- work closely with various hotel operations, such as F&B, Spa and Director of Revenue to understand demand and promotional needs
- work closely with corporate E-Commerce team to analyze and update metadata
- monitor and analyze competitors’ online activities and local online trends
3. IDS Sites
- ensure copy and image contents on IDS channels are optimized and up-to-date
- assess effective of each IDS channel and explore opportunities with new IDS sites
- work closely with Director of Revenue to understand demand needs within the year
- develop strategies and campaigns to target specific POS to increase sales
4. E-mail Campaigns
- Maintain calendar and schedule e-mail campaign throughout the year
- Work with corporate PR & E-Commerce team to produce e-mail campaigns
- Analyze the effectiveness of e-mail campaigns
5. Social Network
- use brand management tool to monitor user generated content
- manage contents posting on Fans Page
- respond to fans feedback or queries on fanspage
- ensure contents are Facebook adhere to corporate guidelines
- source for valuable lifestyle content and develop tailored copy for use on fanspage
- develop Facebook ads in timely manner to cross promote hotel promotions
- work with appointed agency to manage and update contents for advertisers
6. Human Resources Support
- work with corporate E-Commerce team and hotel HR Department to develop and update guidelines for online conduct
- Assist hotel HR Department to monitor staff postings relating to the work environment
- Update hotel HR Department on social network online trends in local market
RECOMMENDED GRADE & REMUNERATION
This will be a manager grade position. Grade & remuneration is to be in the range of Sales Manager to Revenue Manager / Director of Revenue, depending on qualification and experience.

REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent English communication and online writing skills (and in local language – if applicable)
- Possess passion and/or knowledge of the luxury lifestyle or affluent travel market
- Commercial awareness and interest in trends and development in the online environment
- High level of creativity and innovative mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in hospitality, luxury retail, advertising, marketing or digital industry
- High skilled in the use of MS Office (particularly Powerpoint and PhotoManager)
IDEAL COMPETENCIES
- Good knowledge and understanding of SEO & SEM
- Understanding of hotel or travel industry distribution channels
- Knowledge in programming or online programme
- Proficiency in using Photoshop
