6. Outbound link checker (http://www.seomoz.org/toolbox/linkingout)
7. Linkscape - find out how many domains link to a page (http://www.seomoz.org/linkscape)
It also has a Firefox toolbar counterpart (http://www.seomoz.org/mozbar).
8. Trifecta - assess the strength of a particular domain or page (http://www.seomoz.org/trifecta)
9. Check backlinks (http://www.seomoz.org/toolbox/backlinks)
10. Yahoo Site Explorer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/)
11. Comment Hut - targeted traffic (http://www.commenthut.com)
12. Directory Dominator - directory submitter - http://www.directorydominator.com/
13. Web CEO (http://www.webceo.com)
14. SEnuke (http://www.senuke.com/)
15. Back Link Watch - check a website's backlinks (http://www.backlinkwatch.com/)
16. SoloSEO Link Search Tool (http://www.soloseo.com/tools/linkSearch.html)
This gives you a list of search engine links where the results can be a resource of forums, directories, blogs, etc. where you can submit your link.
17. SEOPro Link Checker (http://seopro.com.au/free-seo-tools/new/link-checker/)
This also shows the Google PageRank of the site linking to the url you have given.

What a great resource that you have drawn all together in one place. Thank you.

I was surprised to see the very popular SEOBook missing from the list, especially this newest version
( http://cli.gs/MNtHhT ) which is more powerful than ever.
