1. Campaign name:
Pinoyexchange's American Idol Season 10 Guessing Game
2. Campaign description / mechanics: (it should have start/end date, campaign objectives)
The contest started March 29 and ended May 26, 2011. They revised the rules for guessing in the Finals.
The inital set of rules:
Subject: AI 10 Contest [Week #1]
0919-123457678 Cavite nakura@pinoyexchange.com Bottom 3: Stefano - ELIMINATED Thia Paul |
The final set of rules:
1. Pexers will predict the ranking of the final 4 contestants (Scotty, Haley, James and Lauren) and send it via PM to “IMTVcontests” with the subject: “FINAL 4”. The entry should have your mobile number, location, email, and predictions
Subject: FINAL 4
0919-12345767
Cavite
forg@pinoyexchange.com
[insert predictions here]
2. Each correct prediction will earn you 20 points, a wrong prediction will not have a deduction. However, it is not allowed to have more than two or more names per ranking and repetition is not allowed
3. A Pexer has an option to “lock” his/her predictions per placing. Once you choose to “lock” you predictions, you will earn 30 points instead of just 20 points per correct prediction but if your prediction is wrong you will get a 10 point deduction per wrong guess.
4. Locking your predictions is flexible; you can choose to “lock” just one, or two or three if not all four placings. It’s your call! ![]()
5. To further understand the scoring system here are some examples:
*Results:
1. Casey
2. Pia
3. Thia
4. Paul
*Note: These are all eliminated contestants already and we just used them for this illustration because using the actual final 4 would give a possible placing scenario that PExers could use.
Case #1
1. Casey
2. Pia 3. Thia 4. Paul |
All predictions are correct, you’ll earn 20 point each for total score of 80 points!
Case #2
1. Casey - LOCKED
2. Pia - LOCKED 3. Thia - LOCKED 4. Paul - LOCKED |
All predictions are correct and they were all LOCKED so you’ll earn 30 point each for total score of 120 points!
Case #3
1. Casey - LOCKED
2. Pia - LOCKED 3. Paul - LOCKED 4. Thia - LOCKED |
Predictions for #1 and #2 are correct and they are “LOCKED” so you’ll earn 30 point each for total of 60 points however #3 and #4 are wrong and they are LOCKED so you’ll have a 10 point deduction each bringing your score down to 40 points
Case #4
1. Casey - LOCKED
2. Pia - LOCKED 3. Paul 4. Thia |
Predictions for #1 and #2 are correct and they are “LOCKED” so you’ll earn 30 point each for total of 60 points however #3 and #4 are wrong but since they are NOT LOCKED there will be no point deduction so you’ll retain your 60 points

4. What makes this campaign outstanding? (results generated and how it helped the organization in comparison to how it was prior to start of the campaign)
PinoyExchange saw an opportunity to spark engagement in their forums and keep people coming back to it. Specifically, they took advantage of having many Pinoy American Idol fans in their forums who wanted to vote but couldn't, by giving them an incentive to predict who would be eliminated, and in the finals, the ranking of the final four. They also used this as an opportunity to give back to their forum members, by giving away PinoyExchange goodie bags, and for the finals, an Astroplus gift certificate. The contest was relatively simple to setup, but reward in terms of site visits and return engagement was high.

4. What makes this campaign outstanding?
But more than the numbers, what made this campaign successful is realizing that, through the members' submitted testimonials, Sulit.com.ph has been able to help out individuals and small businesses make it big on their chosen industries. We had stories about members having no money, no work, really nothing at all, but because they were able to sell their stuff on Sulit, they have had something to start off with.
It was really overwhelming and heartwarming to find out how our Sulitizens got by and survived in times of financial needs through the help of Sulit.com.ph.

Nominate a site now by posting a comment on or before July 24, 2011. It should include the following:
1. Campaign name: TV5 BAGETS NATION
2. Campaign description / mechanics: (it should have start/end date, campaign objectives)
We wanted to create a new forum, one wherein the brand has more control over the discussion. This was to help us get feedback for one of our shows, Bagets. It acted both as a focused group (feedback mechanism) as well as a way to bring the characters closer to the fans. To do this we came up with the Bagets Nation Social Forum (www.bagetsnation.com).
BagetsNation.Com has the following key features:
Bagets Questions of the Week
We ask our fans to answer questions posted by the characters of the show. This is based on the existing plot/script. Here are some examples:
http://bagets.tv5.com.ph/page/question/12
http://bagets.tv5.com.ph/page/question/11
Users answer using their Facebook accounts so there's no need for them to create and register new accounts. This eliminates the biggest barrier to entry of most forums.
Meet the Bagets
(http://bagets.tv5.com.ph/page/bagets)
A page showing photos and links to Facebook pages of all the characters of the show. The characters pages are constantly updated as well.
Bagetsionary
(http://bagets.tv5.com.ph/page/bagetsionaries)
Dictionary of terms being used in the Bagets show. It has audio clips so that you don't just read, you also listen to the characters use the terms.
Quote of the Week
(http://bagets.tv5.com.ph/page/quotes)
Unforgettable quotes from the previous episode. Comes also with video showing the characters saying the actual quote in the show.
Previous Episodes
If you missed an episode just watch the ones we upload online. There's a delay though so it's still best to watch when Bagets airs every Sunday.
3. Website url(s) where campaign was launched and related developments (e.g. launch, progress, winners announcement, post-event write-up).
Website: http://bagetsnation.com
Bagets Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/TV5bagets?sk=app_201743593196801 (it has links already to individual character pages)
4. What makes this campaign outstanding? (results generated and how it helped the organization in comparison to how it was prior to start of the campaign)
Fan engagement. It brought the characters closer to the fans. It also helped us in determining popularity of characters and possibly even direction of the story.
We targeted 30,000 "Likes" for the page. We're already at 49,000.
