Hi everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I'm originally from the Philippines and previously worked in account management for BBDO-GO, an advertising agency based in Makati. I finished a masters in Media and Communications last year and am currently working for a digital agency here in London (www.wearevi.com). Having done my masters dissertation on Diesel's (fashion brand) new media campaigns last year, my interests in 'above-the-line' advertising have moved towards digital, specifically brand development through social media, user generated content and how the internet mobilizes consumers in real life.

I also started a business back home that has been running since 2004. A company that manufactures, sells, teaches and performs poi nationwide (www.planetzips.com, planetzips.multiply.com). I plan on expanding the business and starting other more sophisticated ecommerce-based businesses in the future, when I return to the Philippines in a couple years time.

I've been looking for a website/community to keep abreast with new trends back home and get involved in discussions on anything related to the digital space - and it looks like I've found the perfect place here on digitalfilipino.com!
