The 2nd batch of deliveries onwards for the book Blogging from Home were done through Xend. This entity is one of our newest member in the DigitalFilipino.com Club. They came in just in time as I was thinking on how to make deliveries as affordable as possible. I hope entities like Xend will put pressure to big players in making their offerings competitive to small players like us as I mentioned in my column last week.
The biggest saving is with the documents shipped within Metro Manila. A book is often less than half kilo and you just pay forty pesos (P40). Couriers normally charge eight pesos (P80) for that unless you have an account.

Provincial rates vary on location. In some cases they are a bit more expensive but the savings gained in Metro Manila destinations is more than enough to cover for them.

I'm interested but would like to know the requirements. I've encountered them before when I won an ebay auction and my item was delivered by them.

Hi Jay. Yes they do pick up. You first have to open an account with them. Email me if you are interested and will refer you for account creation.

I heard they do pickup. What do you need to have them pick up your items for shipping ?
