Be Part of the Conversation: DigitalFilipino Talks Blog Contest

As part of our efforts in promoting the DigitalFilipino Talks series, I am organizing a weekly contest where interested bloggers can participate.

 

Here are the mechanics:

1. Blog about a DigitalFilipino Talks episode and add your insight.
2. The said blog post needs to have the DigitalFilipino Talks video embedded and link to it, comments from readers, and a Facebook Like button.
3. Submit the url of your blog entry to the page of the video you have chosen to feature. Cut-off for submission is before midnight, Monday to Friday.

Winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:

1. Adherence to the mechanics. (qualifier)
2. Quality of insight whether from the blogger and/or from resource persons interviewed. (50%)
3. Quality of comments. (25%)
4. Effort taken to promote the said blog post based on Facebook Like and other social media. (25%)

Winners and Prizes:

For the 1st batch, February 20, five (5) winners will be announced picking one entry submitted on a per day basis (1 for Monday, 1 for Tuesday, 1 for Wednesday, 1 for Thursday, 1 for Friday). Four winners will receive US$20. The best post (5th winner) will get US$50. Prizes will be transmitted through Paypal.

 

For the 2nd batch, March 6, ten winners will be announced picking one entry submitted on a per day basis (1 for Monday, 1 for Tuesday, 1 for Wednesday, 1 for Thursday, 1 for Friday) from February 21 to March 4. Nine (9) winners will receive US$10 each. The best post (10th winner) will get US$100. Prizes will be transmitted through Paypal.

 

For the 3rd batch, April 6, ten winners will be announced picking one entry submitted on a per day basis (1 for Monday, 1 for Tuesday, 1 for Wednesday, 1 for Thursday, 1 for Friday) from March 23 to April 5. Nine (9) winners will receive US$10 each. The best post (10th winner) will get US$100. Prizes will be transmitted through Paypal.

 

There is no limit on the number of times a blogger can win.

My initial post, I wasn't able to save when connection disconnected. I almost cried in frustration.

First time to join a contest like this 8)

Had trouble with my internet connection for the video..buffering buffering

Then my blog server had a problem glad it went back up

Now it's all worth it.
