DigitalFilipino Club goes to the Azalea Residences in Baguio

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the DigitalFilipino Club first out of town workshop session in Baguio. It was a two-day workshop where we learned about the current state of e-commerce in the Philippines, Business Model Canvas building blocks, competitive strategies for the web, Social Media, and SEO Influences.

The venue of the workshop was at the Azalea Residences Baguio, located at #7 Leonard Wood Loop, Brgy. M. Roxas, 2600 Baguio, Philippines, a walking distance form the Pink Sisters Convent.

 

As soon as we arrived, the hotel personnel at the lobby warmly greeted us. I checked in a deluxe room, and to my surprise, it wasn’t like a typical hotel room. It seemed to be like a studio type condo, complete with amenities such as a living room, dining room area, kitchen, cable TV, Sofa bed, and a Queen sized bed. This gave me an impression of a homey atmosphere. 

The hotel has 99 rooms in total. They have deluxe rooms, one-bedroom rooms, two bedroom rooms, and three bedroom rooms.  Each room can accommodate between 2 to 8 people depending on the room size.  

 

They also have a business center equipped with a fax machine, and computers with Internet connection. Guest can use this facility for as low as P50.00 per hour. 

 

During our hotel tour, I learned that the hotel also offer different services such as spa & massage services, tour arrangement and vacation services, laundry and dry cleaning, in-room dining, and transportation arrangement.

 

After our workshop, we were then toured to different tourist places near the hotel like: the Pink Sisters Convent, the Mansion, Mines View Park, Good Shepherd, Camp John Hay, and the Baguio Market.

 

The Azalea Residences is perfect place for family, friends, and corporate gatherings. It offers great amenities, facilities, and services which makes their guests feel at home and relaxed. Reservations can be done by calling their Manila or Baguio office. Transportation service to and from Manila can also be arranged.
